Location The Longuinhos Beach Resort is located at Colva, about 20 minutes south of the International Airport at Dabolim. Margao, Goa's commercial hub and the Margao Railway station are a mere 10-minute drive from the resort. The capital Panjim, a charming little city along the river Mandovi is a 45-minute drive away. |
Restaurants The resort has three restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. The place of pride is the A Tartaruga, Portuguese for sea turtle that roam the beaches of Goa. The quaint decor of the restaurant and bar set the mood, equally at home with authentic Goan, Continental, Indian and the ever-popular Tandoori fare. The well-stocked bar serves imported and domestic liquor, wines and a wide range of cocktails and mocktails. A Tartaruga continues in the footsteps of the 50-year old tradition of Longuinhos in Margao. Dine al fresco at our open-air restaurant the Coco del Mar amidst exotic flora with live music coupled with the sound of the crashing sea waves. This is also a choice venue for weddings and parties, accommodating upto 550 pax. And finally our poolside restaurant, the Butterfly Garden. If you're not practising your back-stroke in the pool or sipping a Bloody Mary, this is where you can put into practice the art of sussegado or 'easy living' which basically sums up the languid pace of everyday life in Goa. Special barbeques are held here. |

At our resort, spacious lush green lawns, graceful swaying coconut trees and bougainvillaeas greet your eyes while the cool blue waters of the Arabian Sea invite you for a refreshing swim. If you don't fancy the ocean, perhaps a dip in our pool? Work on your tan, simply laze on our manicured lawns or even take a trip through history, there's so much to see and do in Goa! As you lose yourself in soft solitude, away from the madding crowds, watch the splendour of the sunrise to the tune of the chirping birds, and the sound of the waves blending in perfect harmony with the local fishermen casting their nets for their daily catch.
